2018 – transitioned to ISO 9001:2015 in accordance to new standard compliance.

As the business expanded compounded by a higher cement demand throughout the east coast of Sabah, the management approved the expansion plan to double the terminal capacity. The project comprised the construction an identical Haver & Boecker cement packing plant complete with a 15,000 MT IBAU Hamburg cement silo, a single storey laboratory and a new weighbridge.The construction work commenced in June 2011 and it was commissioned in September 2012. The launching of the 2nd cement packing line and the silo was graced by the Assistant Minister to the Chief Minister, YB Datu Nasrun Hj. Datu Mansur on 20th February 2013

Cement Industries (Sabah) Sdn. Bhd. was granted with quality Environment Certification, 5S by Malaysian Productivity Corporation (MPC)

The construction work for the 3rd Haver & Boecker cement packing line and a 15,000 MT Silo (SILO C) commenced in April 2010 and completed as scheduled on 27/05/2011

Cement Industries (Sabah) Sdn. Bhd. Lahad Datu plant was granted with certification of Quality Management System to MS ISO 9001: 2008 by Lloyd's Register Quality Assurance for the packing and distribution of Portland cement.

Cement Industries (Sabah) Sdn. Bhd. was granted the prestigious Sabah Industry Excellence Award, Category IV (Open) for local company with annual sales above RM100 million or foreign owned by Ministry of Industrial Development Sabah

Cement Industries (Sabah) Sdn. Bhd., Sepangar Plant was granted with certification of Quality Management Systeman to MS ISO 9001: 2008 by Lloyd's Register Quality Assurance for the manufacture of Ordinary Portland Cement.

Cement Industries (Sabah) Sdn. Bhd. set up a bulk terminal located within Lahad Datu's port area for the purpose of supplying cement for the East Coast of Sabah's market requirement. The facility comprised of a Haver & Boecker cement packing plant complete with a 15,000 MT IBAU Hamburg cement silo, initially with a 400,000 MT annual capacity commenced commercial operation in April 2009. The terminal was graced open by the most honourable, the Chief Minister of Sabah, Datuk Seri Panglima Musa Haji Aman on 15th August 2009.

Cement Industries (Sabah) Sdn. Bhd. was granted with product certification license by SIRIM QAS International Sdn. Bhd., a license to use the certification mark on Ordinary Portland Cement CEM I 42.5N as complying to MS EN 197-1:2007 IBAU Hamburg cement silo, initially with a 400,000 MT annual capacity commenced commercial operation in April 2009. The terminal was graced open by the most honourable, the Chief Minister of Sabah, Datuk Seri Panglima Musa Haji Aman on 15th August 2009.

Cement Industries (Sabah) Sdn. Bhd. was granted with product certification license by SIRIM QAS International Sdn. Bhd.(Formerly known as SIRIM QAS Sdn. Bhd.) , a license to use the certification mark on Ordinary Portland Cement as complying to MS 522: Part 1:2003

Cement Industries (Sabah)Sdn. Bhd. Laboratory was granted the Certificate of Accreditation(Certificate No: SAMM 003) to the new ISO/IEC 17025 under the Laboratory Accreditation Scheme of Malaysia (SAMM) by Department of Standards Malaysia (DSM)for the testing of cement,clinker,gypsum and limestone.

Cement Industries (Sabah)Sdn. Bhd. was granted certification to upgraded MS ISO 9001 : 2000 Quality Management System certification for the manufacture of ordinary Portland cement (OPC) by Lloyd's Register Quality Assurance.

Cement Industries (Sabah)Sdn. Bhd. was granted ISO 9002:1994 Quality Management System certification for the manufacture of ordinary Portland cement (OPC) by Lloyd's Register Quality

Commissioning of the Pre-Grinding Mill by Krupp Polysius AG of German with upgraded grinding capacity of 900,000 metric tonnes per annum.

Cement Industries (Sabah)Sdn. Bhd. was granted with product certification license by SIRIM QAS Sdn. Bhd. (Previously issued by the Standards and Industrial Research of Malaysia (SIRIM)), a license to use the Certification Mark on Ordinary Portland Cement as complying to MS 522: Part 1 : 1989

Cement Industries (Sabah)Sdn. Bhd. Laboratory was granted certificate of Accreditation (Certificate No: SAMM 003) to ISO/IEC Guide 25 under the laboratory Accreditation scheme of Malaysia (SAMM) by the Department of Standards Malaysia (DSM) for the testing of cement, clinker, gypsum and limestone

The SILAS scheme was discontinued and Cement Industries (Sabah) Sdn. Bhd. CIS Laboratory was granted Certificate of Accreditation (Certificate No: SAMM 003) to ISO/IEC Guide 25 under the laboratory Accreditation scheme of Malaysia (SAMM) by the SAMM National Council for the testing of cement, clinker, gypsum and limestone.

Cement Industries (Sabah) Sdn. Bhd. Laboratory was granted Certificate of Accreditation (Certificate No:003) to ISO/IEC Guide 25 by the Standards and Industrial Research Institute of Malaysia (SIRIM) for the testing of cement, clinker, gypsum and limestone.

Cement Industries (Sabah) Sdn. Bhd. was issued a license by the Standards and Industrial Research of Malaysia (SIRIM) certifying thequality of the product to comply with the Malaysian Standard, MS 522:Part 1:1977

The plant was handed over to Cement Industries (Sabah) Sdn. Bhd.

The construction of the plant was completed within the contract period. The total investment was around RM62 million with rated capacity of 500,000 metric per annum.

The construction work commenced on factory and office complex. The contract was awarded to Hitachi Zosen Corporation of Japan on a turnkey basis for RM45 million.
